Insworld Institute provides access to a British-based education in Singapore for learners from aged 12, leading to the Pearson Edexcel International Advanced Level and International GCSE. Taught in small classes by subject specialists, our aim is to equip students with the knowledge, understanding and skills essential for their continued progress in education and for their professional careers.

Pearson Edexcel Curriculum
Pearson Edexcel International Advanced Levels are recognised by universities worldwide for undergraduate admission. These include the UK Russell Group, the Australia Group of Eight (Go8), and top-ranked universities across North America and Asia.
Subject Choice
Learners choose the subjects they want to study at depth, with no compulsory subjects at International Advanced Level beyond the three required for the qualification.
Our Programmes
We offer four full-time programmes. Two lead to Pearson Edexcel qualifications, the International Advanced Level and the International GCSE; the Edexcel International Tuition Programme and English for Academic Study are run by Insworld to prepare students for them.
International Advanced Level (A-Level)
Duration: 6 terms (18-22 months)
Class Size: 4-12 students

International GCSE
Pearson Edexcel International General Certificate of Secondary Education
Duration: 6 terms (18-22 months)
Class Size: 4-12 students
On completion, learners hold a Pearson Edexcel International GCSE, widely recognised as a foundation for the International Advanced Level.
Edexcel International Tuition Programme (EITP)
Duration: 6 terms (18-22 months)
Class Size: 4-12 students
Prepares younger learners for entry to the Pearson Edexcel International GCSE.
English for Academic Study (EAS)
Duration: 1-3 terms (3-9 months)
Class Size: 4-12 students
For learners whose first language is not English, preparing them for entry to the International GCSE or International Advanced Level.

What is the class size at Insworld?
Classes are taught in groups of 4 to 12 learners. The structure is the same across all four programmes.
Are the qualifications recognised for university entry?
The Pearson Edexcel International Advanced Level and International GCSE are widely recognised by universities in the United Kingdom and worldwide for entry to undergraduate degree programmes. How do Pearson Edexcel qualifications compare against other curricula?
The Pearson Edexcel International Advanced Level and International GCSE have been independently benchmarked against the UK curriculum by ECCTIS (formerly UK NARIC), the official agency for the recognition and comparison of international qualifications acting on behalf of the UK Government. How does the admissions process work?
Admission begins with a pre-course discussion with the Principal or Admissions Director, in person at the Institute or online, to confirm programme suitability and review the learner’s prior education. Applicants then complete the application form and submit it with certified copies of the most recent school results, the highest school leaving certificate, the relevant identification documents, and the application fee of S$1,600. Applications may be submitted by email, by post, or in person at the Institute. Full entry requirements for each programme are available on the Admissions page.
What support is available for learners whose first language is not English?
The English for Academic Study programme provides preparation in academic English over one to three terms. Learners typically progress to the International GCSE or, depending on age and prior study, directly to the International Advanced Level. The Admissions team also assists with Student’s Pass applications, which are subject to approval by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority of Singapore.
